Located in California, the Carzy Mape Office embraces the bold aesthetic of Mondrianism as its core design language, merging geometric abstraction with contemporary spatial demands. The project is conceived as a dynamic content creation hub that balances artistic expression with functional versatility, aiming to inspire creativity while enhancing team collaboration.
Inspired by the works of Dutch abstract painter Piet Mondrian, the overall spatial composition is defined by precise vertical and horizontal lines, while the color palette is grounded in the primary trio of red, blue, and yellow, harmonized with black, white, and gray for structured yet vibrant visual tension.
Spatial Functions & Layout
· Entrance
A narrow, elongated entry corridor is designed with geometric blocks that immediately form a visual focal point, serving as the brand’s first impression and interface with the public. An art installation, placed adjacent to the 10g0 logo, reinforces the company's aesthetic identity and visual language.
· Open Workspace
The open-plan office area features flexibly arranged desks and modular furniture, catering to the fast-paced and ever-changing rhythm of content production. The layout encourages collaboration, while still allowing for moments of individual focus, adapting seamlessly to the dynamic workflow of a modern MCN team.
· Meeting Rooms
Balancing privacy and collaboration, the meeting rooms are acoustically optimized using sound-absorbing materials. Echoing the Mondrian theme, subtle geometric motifs are introduced through wall treatments and furniture accents, enhancing spatial identity and reinforcing brand cohesion.
In the open workspace, the design intention was to create a setting that feels "unexpected" yet entirely functional. Rather than adopting a conventional grid of desks, we introduced irregular geometric zones defined by color-blocked flooring and custom partitions that reference Mondrian’s iconic visual language.
These spatial divisions are non-obstructive, using translucent materials and varying ceiling heights to subtly separate teams while maintaining visual connectivity and natural light flow. Desks and seating arrangements are non-linear, breaking the monotony often found in typical offices.
The design of the single-person meeting room, or Focus Pod, continues the Mondrian-inspired visual and spatial narrative. Though compact, the space is rich in character and optimized for private video calls, deep work, or confidential conversations.
